Alisyn Camerota is signing off from CNN for good, announcing her departure after 10 years with the news network.
The 2x Emmy-nominated broadcast journalist shared the announcement on Sunday, ahead of what will be her final broadcast at 4:50pm ET, after she joined CNN in 2014 and co-anchored New Day, as well as co-hosting CNN Newsroom and CNN Tonight.
“Big News, Everyone! — today is my last day on CNN,” she wrote on Instagram. “Tune in at 4:50p (et) for my sign off. Keep it here for updates!”
Camerota shared a heartfelt statement during the broadcast. “Before we go on this very busy news day, I just wanted to take a moment to share some personal news. This is my last day on air at CNN,” she began. More

My Libtard neighbor, the only one on the cul de sac, just poured that DEF crap into the fuel tank. Ran it until the truck stopped. They’re currently at 17K getting if fixed. LOL.

My dumbass neighbor pumped over a half a tank full of diesel into her Audi a few years ago, but didn’t realize it. They asked me to check out why the car was running so badly. I couldn’t figure out what was wrong. They had it towed to the dealership to get the diagnosis. There was still enough gas in the tank so when the gas and diesel mixed the engine could still run but it had no power and it smoked like it was rolling coal. It cost them over a grand to get it flushed out but there was no permanent engine damage.
This was a two year old Duramax. Apparently if you overload the fuel system with DEP it takes the injectors out. Which make no sense to me. But that’s one of the many reason I drive an 06 Duramax. I just put a WC Fab Y splitter on it. Which maintains a 3 inch diameter tube all the way to the turbo. The factory set up necks down to 2 inch. That truck might just be the fastest think on the planet. LOL
LOL. Just looked up what DEF actually was – pisswater. Would peeing in the DEF tank cut down on costs?
Not a fan of diesel, but I don’t haul much of anything.

That’s probably the most accurate description I’ve ever heard of a diesel first thing in the morning on a cold day. I guess it’s an acquired taste. Like I say. After you own one you’ll never drive anything else. Did I mention my LBZ get 18 mpg around town and about 30 on the road?
@Brad — I’ve owned four diesel cars over the years (3 VWs and a Mercedes) but never a truck. If I ever need a truck I promise you it will have a diesel engine. I like the sound, and I can always mute my hearing aids if need be! 🧏♂️

Now to tie it to the subject it turned into…diesel trucks and diesel fuel…Alison doll (and the Divine Bette M.), I think it’ll go down smoother than Drano. Less burning of the esophagus tissue.
@Brad and others – I understand the need for diesels (torque, and more torque), and they do get better gas mileage, it’s just I guess I’ve never had one and only worked on gas engines (helped rebuild a couple.) It’s what I’m used to.
And my hearing aids cost <$600 from costco, which uses cheap button batteries. Much better than my previous rechargeable Siemens at $6k where the batteries died in 4 years…
Laugh if you will, but I have a Jeep Gladiator 6cyl stick, and love it. Used to get ~24mpg but Biden's controllers f'd up the fuel to ethanol ratio, so now it's lucky to get 14mpg… :/

Well, I’m not lying about the backlog of factory warranty work. Just the top couple that I know of. Ford diesel fuel rails. 3 months wait. Owners are skipping the warranty and going to private repair shops so they can drive their trucks. Mentioned above, GMC trucks transmissions, including Chevy, bad valve bodies. 10 week wait. Both my boys just went through this. Land Rover rear main seals. 10 week wait. GMC truck 4 cylinder turbo gas. Failing seals between the pedastil and the turbo. I could go on. I’m sorry you though I was lying to you. I’m not.
My 1982 MB 300D gets 24 miles to the gallon. Not great. But it starts in 0F. And below. It definitely goes into the annals of starting and driving, every day.

You cannot truly appreciate the sound of a diesel starting until you hear a Fairbanks-Morse 9-cylinder opposed piston being spun up by compressed air in the Auxiliary Machinery Room of an older submarine. 😀
The current Virginia-class with their Caterpillar button-start diesels are nothing by comparison.
