250,000 Arizona Republicans have already voted in their upcoming primary, thanks to a 26-day long early voting period.
If sixteen percent of those voters who favored Marco Rubio before he ended his campaign have already cast their ballot for him, that could mean rough 40,000 have wasted their vote.
I don’t have a problem with allowing absentee voting, some people can’t make it to the polls on election day, but to extend the period up to a month in advance invites problems.
I wonder sometimes, which party created early voting?
Could it be the same people who created drivers licenses for illegals?
The concept is anathema to the primaries where candidates often drop out of the race early on. In the general, shouldn’t be allowed any more than two days tops

The electoral system in the US is completely compromised and corrupt. Early voting is only one small part of the problem. Having once been the treasurer of a federal campaign (US Senate race) I’ve had the misfortune of lifting the lid and seeing the corruption first hand. Every election I go through a crisis of conscience to decide whether or not to implicitly sanction the stolen voting system by casting a ballot. Usually but not always I vote for minimizing damage but it makes me gag when I think that my vote adds into the bogus “mandate” the winners always claim justifies their every theft of wealth and liberty.
Here it worked great. As ΜΟΛΩΝ ΛΑΒΕ said “everyone wasted their vote! ”
I want to add, Stuff it Romney, those 40 k are votes that were neutralized and not sent over to your pick or YOUR convention.

Tim, the same thing happened when Dino Rossi the GOP candidate for governor in the state of Washington was hosed by Chris Gregoire in the 2004 governor’s election. I absolutely hate voting by mail, it’s the worst thing they could’ve done and it pisses me off every election year since 2004.

Early voting should be illegal. The Constitution spells out that election day is the second Tuesday in November. This early voting stuff is crap.
