Yeah, dads are the best when it comes to creative and exuberant play with their kids – sons and daughters.
Our toddler daughter had a Fisher Price barn with all the farm animals. The barn had doors on the front and back and dad would wreak havoc by putting his hand through the back doors, menace the animals, shoot through the front doors, and grab at her hands. He was the boogy man “FARM HAND!” Oooooo, scary! Never failed to send her into peals of laughter.
Inspired love and humor, qualities that help offset the flip side if life’s coin…
