4. Good thing this kid was not born in Iceland. They are so proud of their record on eradicating down syndrome through prenatal care. Of course it sucks for the child.

10. I have seen families with a Down Syndrome kid. In every one, every member of the family is a loving, caring person and the families are the most joy-filled I have seen. Almost seems like we should WANT to have one.

11. Wasn’t there an 80’s sitcom with a Downs Syndrome actor? I didn’t watch much TV back then I was always either at work (one or two jobs) or school I didn’t want to take out a “student loan” thank God for the G.I. Bill that helped a little!
