Sara Carater: Attorney General William Barr said Special Counsel Robert Mueller “could’ve reached a decision” on obstruction in an interview with CBS airing Friday. When asked about Mueller’s Wednesday statement, Barr said he wasn’t sure what Mueller was “suggesting.” Mueller cited 11 instances where President Trump ‘possibly’ obstructed justice.
Now, Barr says he’s looking into potential wrongdoing by the U.S. intelligence community. It’s an argument investigative reporter Sara Carter has been making for nearly three years. Carter said former CIA director John Brennan, former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper, former Deputy Director of the FBI Andrew McCabe, and his boss, former FBI Director James Comey are now under a “magnifying glass” with the Barr investigation. They are fighting for their careers and potentially against any criminal wrongdoing. Further, Carter told Fox News’ Sean Hannity Thursday that the group is “deflecting.” WATCH
