Corrupt City Council Member Arrested in Boston

Daily Wire

Federal authorities have arrested a leftist Democratic city councilwoman in Boston after being accused of defrauding the city and giving kickbacks to a family member on her staff.

Tania Fernandes Anderson, who immigrated to the U.S. illegally from Cape Verde, was charged by the Justice Department with five counts of wire fraud and one count of stealing federal funds, including a charge for providing a $13,000 bonus to an unnamed relative she employed at city hall. The two allegedly shared the money.

“The charges stem from an alleged kickback scheme she orchestrated to obtain several thousand dollars in taxpayer money in exchange for bribes paid,” said U.S. Attorney Joshua Levy on Friday. More

  1. No. She pissed off a competitor far worse than herself. What she did was nothing less than a long-standing tradition among democrats. Prove me wrong. I’ll guaran-dam-tee you she was narked on by fellow democrats. Think about this. Are there any republicans in Massachusetts who have the power to have the democrat controlled media report on this? Didn’t think so. Inside job.

  2. Democrats, especially blacks view public office as a right to get all the money you can by any means necessary. Their voters don’t care because they’d do the same thing given the chance.

Don’t mean to nit-pick, but isn’t that eerily similar to what Dan “Eye-patch McCain” Crenshaw (RINO-TX) propounded?

I do not think corruption is the singular domain of demonrats or “blacks” [negroes].
