People who want to see the Rockefeller Center Christmas tree this year will have to get tickets first, Mayor Bill de Blasio said Sunday.
“The idea is we’re going to really limit the number of people by using a ticketing approach,” the mayor said.
He said more details on the change to the famous annual Manhattan tradition would be made public this week.

…that said, I don’t know who there would care. Most people in New York City proper seem to have turned their backs on Christ long ago to judge by their behavior and their voting patterns; the tree is a sickly, ugly thing, probably on purpose; and the Bible itself is lukewarm at BEST about “holiday trees” since they grow from pagan traditions anyway, to wit:

…so it’s not really odd to see pagans in a pagan city treating what’s supposed to be a Christmas tree as the pagan symbol that it grew from, but it IS just another opportunity (like they need any more) for another Democrat to display how reprobate he really IS…
