8. And in the Berkeley streets I saw, ten hundred retards maybe more… Amen to that, I wouldn’t want to have a damned thing to do with Bezerkley. It was screwed up in Aug. 1972 when my best friend and I hitchhiked from Portland to Berkley and to Frisco across the bay and is even more screwed up nearly 50 years later. It was the last blowout of our youth before we both joined the Navy shortly thereafter. I have never been back there and will never go there again or back to Portland for that matter.
