Finally, a black parents stepping up to the plate!
your a good father, no matter what your daughter says.
If only Michael Brown had had a father like that!
Good father is hard to find!
Love his anti-snowflake attitude!
My dad did this for me as well (notice I did not say TO me). I had stolen Garfield scratch and sniff stickers. I tried to tell him I bought them but he knew I hadn’t gone to the register. Smart dad. Years later I had to do the same with my oldest daughter, she had stolen a butterfly embellishment from the sewing notions section of Walmart.
These are the lessons that count.
And still she grabs the bag after the clerk hands her the change. Lesson learned? Nope.
Her father is a good man who will have his hands full because he is fighting against cultural rot.
Good parenting is a bitch sometimes but the rewards are awesome!
Too bad that the good parenting, integrity, decency and honesty will put her completely out of touch with her environment.

My Dad did same thing to me. I had to scrap together all of my pennies, put them in an envelope and go the store and pay the manager (an IGA). Vivid memory to this day.
I hope she learned her lesson, but the dad may wind up with a knife in his back while sleeping one day.
Been there done that many, many years ago.
The punishment was severe and costly (the restitution was all the money I possessed, which was 20 fold of the item I had stolen).
I learned from my misdeed each day as I tried to sit comfortably.
A lasting life lesson and fond memory of Loving Parents who did their very best to raise 4 responsible children during hard times.
They succeeded.
