  1. Malibu Canyon burns pretty much every year. In the mid-eighties I was living in Calabasas and saw it jump a 12-land freeway (I-405) and burn up to my backyard.

    Whether the remaining cross brought hope, no doubt it did to some, but to the Satanists (of which the numbers are growing) it was a stark reminder that in the end, you will lose.
