In the same week Chicago hit the 3,000th gun shot victim mark, the Chicago Tribune reports that Illinois will add instruction to their driver training programs on how to properly interact with officers during a traffic stop .

Actually, teaching how to handle traffic stops as part of driver training should be a part of the curriculum nationwide. Just makes sense.
Good thing, but they are still not focusing on the real problem.
Can’t remember who taught me but my first lesson about getting pulled over was to roll my window down and say “How can I help you, officer?”
Somewhere recently I heard you are supposed to keep your window up and put your hands on the steering wheel.
They need to train the po po on how to interact with citizens…by reminding them they are public SERVANTS, not the holy anointed chosen ones they think they are.
