  1. It’s the KEY to victory. Not only is he attracting support from the GOP base who’s tired of being beaten like an abused spouse, but he is going to get the votes of those who vote for “cool” and celebrity; historically dem voters.

    It’s a means to an end. The end of the one party system I hope.

  5. Disagree about the “hair”.
    The equivalent would have been if OBoy’s fans wore fake BIG EARS, gone in blackface (!) or something like that.

    Agree with RR above: it’s MEANT as an affectionate joke, not idolatry.

  6. If these people need someone to worship, they might try the Lord of the Bible for a change. Trump is only a man, not immortal or a god. Worship the One who inhabits eternity and Whom heaven cannot contain…Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. One in Three, Three in One.

  7. I fall in the “it’s fun” camp, too.

    I mean for crying out loud, how long has it been since the real people in this country have had fun? I haven’t had any since Pelosi first took the gavel. With Trump, I’m having some fun again.

    And if you didn’t notice, those are women. If women are paying attention to a (largely) conservative, or at least truly pro-American message, then something YUuuuge is indeed going on.

  14. The smart-ass in me thinks this is stupid but fun. The common sense side says stop trying to make politics stupid and the American people subjecting themselves to idiotic gimmicks.
    I must be getting old because the common sense side has won on this one.

    I think it’s good clean fun, with some silly on the side. These ladies can pull it off. That being said, I think it would be cool to retire the Trump Bump hair pieces before they get any the worse for wear. A little goes a long way.

  22. I guess that I am also worried that so many seem so ready to put their trust in one man to clean house and right the ship. Many of his fans are just that- fans. Political philosophy and policy arguments should carry the day, not hero worship without looking at a candidate’s long term record. We do not need any more rockstar candidates. Give me a boring, constitution loving conservative any day over the cool guy or a bull in the china shop.
