Thus fortified with Russia’s favorite beverage, the individual then took a metal rope stand used to cordon off the famous Ilya Repin painting of Ivan the Terrible cradling his son after bashing his head in a fit of rage. The unidentified gallery visitor took the metal stand and proceeded to smash the security glass meant to protect the masterpiece.
