Let’s press on, in her honor

When asked if the Senate should consider then-President Barack Obama’s nominee, Merrick Garland, Ginsburg said, “That’s their job,” the New York Times reported. “There’s nothing in the Constitution that says the president stops being president in his last year,” Ginsburg added.

  1. She should have retired in The 11th month of the 3rd year of Barky`s 1st Term if she was as Smart and humble as Hollywood wants you to believe. That was the safe bet.

She hung around forgetting the nature of human frailty despite several health issues. She wanted to watch Hillary nominate her replacement.

    Hubris & Arrogance.

Waiting for Barky`s 2nd term was already risky but once he was re-elected she had a second chance to retire in year 3 of the Obama`s 2nd term.
Again she did not make the smart & humble & safe choice.

The Democrats, The Left, Hollywood & RBG have no one to blame but themselves.

How good could her mental faculties have been if she did not see that this situation was a possibility especially when she witnessed the death of Antonin Scalia who was ultimately her friend…

    Her Fault!

  2. “Ruth Bader Ginsburg was frequently interviewed by admiring journalists, but, apparently, nobody ever asked her to reconcile her strongly stated views on hiring diversity and affirmative action for other employers with her own hiring record of only hiring one black law clerk in 40 years as a judge (approximately 1 black out of 119 clerks hired while on the Supreme Court; during her 13 prior years on the prestigious D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals, she hired zero blacks out of 57 individuals (clerks, secretaries, etc.) she personally hired. So, from 1980-2020, Justice Ginsburg hired black applicants well under 1% of the time.”

  3. It’s not about the Constitution and its provisions any more, it’s about the sheer display and use of raw power against your opponent.

The side that commands the most of it and uses it most effectively gets what it wants, the other side loses.

Which side that will be in this case waits to be seen.

  4. Fill her seat now! They would!

Aaaaaaaaannnnnd who believes this so-called dying wish that she should not be replaced until a new president is installed? I mean, democRATs wouldn’t lie about such a thing… now would they?

  5. OOPS!

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton, in a Twitter message, said Obama will occupy the White House until January. “It’s his job to nominate a justice, the Senate has a responsibility to vote,” Clinton said.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders, vying with Clinton for the Democratic nomination, said on CBS’s “Face the Nation” that denying a vote for a Supreme Court nominee “is beyond comprehension, and it just speaks to the unbelievable level and unprecedented level of Republican obstructionism against Obama.”

  6. “Let’s press on, in her honor”

…”her honor” had no honor, and you can’t honor the honorless by honoring them when they are completely dishonorable.

Yes, it’s meant to be a joke, but it’s not working out. Oh well, I typed it, so I’m posting it anyway, along with this COMPLETELY dishonorable total non-seqiter about honor…

“She offered her honor, he honored her offer, so it was honor and offer all night”.

…yeah, stupid, I know. But I’m tired and Judge Dead deserves no better…

  7. I saw an unattriubuted pop up that said “RBG was a GREAT American”…
The past tense is great, it really depends on what your definition of great American is,
I rank her right beside Benedict Arnold.

“Have they buried her stinking carcass yet? As a Jew, she is supposed to be buried within 48 hours.”

…seem like there’d be an earthquake as the very dirt they try to bury her in rejects her evil, so maybe not yet…

  9. Just imagine if Justice Ginsburg wasn’t Jewish. The Dementiacrats would drag out her funeral services for several weeks, with a State Funeral starting in the Supreme Court and a service under the Capital Dome, with several days of black bunting and hundreds of thousands of Leftist paying their last respects. This would be followed by a procession to a church where President Trump could be booed whilst entering and leaving, and hours of remembrances by the Clintons and Obamas. Next, a slow parade to Arlington National Cemetery, where four or five more hours of bullshit would be tossed about before Ginsburg was finally turfed under. All of this would have been televised continuously on all the Propaganda Networks, including the riots and looting inspired by all the lies fed to the rioters and looters by their Co-conspirators. All of this would be used as an excuse to avoid confirmation hearings on Trump’s Nominee to replace this woman who should have stepped down five years ago.

@Marco – I had the same thought. Wondering how long they would drag her corpse around making political speeches.

  11. I saw a clip of Biden on The View, and he was barely coherent. Behar and her cohorts were struggling greatly to keep the WTF??? looks off their faces, while trying to pretend for the camera/viewers that he was making any kind of sense.

I thought this was a pretty clever use of the word “honor” and its variants: …”her honor” had no honor, and you can’t honor the honorless by honoring them when they are completely dishonorable.

In that twilight zone between being very sleepy and actually sleeping, I think there are occasional flashes of insight, but the problem is remembering them later.

  14. …It’s disgusting that she’s going to be buried in Arlinton.

Her corpse profanes that hallowed ground just with the THOUGHT.

After the War, she needs to be dug up and flung in a dump with the REST of the Democrat corpses.

God bless those who EARNED their place there, and protect their memory from this evil, evil goblin they plan to plant among them…
