  1. This makes me think of the excitement that surrounded “Who Shot J.R.?” Remember when they had a media black-out in England and then they flew the film can over there? Something went wrong, though, I think, over that. I never did know who shot him because I don’t watch prime time tee vee shows.

  2. Rats! I thought Assange was making his announcement at midnight (PST). I could do 12:00, I don’t know about 1a. And I really can’t stand to listen to Jones and Co. for a hour.

  3. As of 5:13, Assange says, in the context of American viewers, “if we have a major announcement, we wouldn’t do it at 3am”.

It’s just a FUNDRAISING teaser for “over the next few months, there will be releases.”

    So fuck you, Assange.

  4. Didn’t know the idiot was on tonight, just happened to catch some of the announcement.

Just stated that he understands there is some interest in the U.S. about his speaking this morning, but also said he would not make a major announcement impacting the U.S. at 3 AM.

Basically, just more “Look at me! Look at me!” “I will be publishing more stuff before the end of the year!” He’s also peddling his books.

He just completed minute 15 of his 15 minutes of fame.
