No worries re extinction, mate. They only strive for hi-viz, high pay, corner office, big shot jobs in a controlled environment. You’ll never see them if you’re working iron on a skyscraper, down in a sewer, unloading bricks to lay, laying asphalt in AZ in July or on a frozen prairie doing line work during a whiteout. So technically, we’re safe from extinction, unless we continue our demographic suicide. Just have to watch for the odd nut job around town, incl schools.
