    Can they speak in public and practice their religion?

    Are they secure in their persons, papers, &c.?

  26. The Scriptures have many places where it talks about sexual immorality. Unfortunately many Bibles still translate the term as fornication, yet it means much more than fornication. The term in Greek is porneia. See Lev. 18 for a list of sexual crimes. It includes homosexual activity.

    Act 15:20  …but to write to them to hold back from the pollutions of idols, and from porneia, and that strangled, and blood. (see v. 29 also)

    Porneia is defined as in Thayer’s lexicon:
    porneia
    Thayer Definition:
    1) illicit sexual intercourse
    1a) adultery, fornication, homosexuality, lesbianism, intercourse with animals etc.
    1b) sexual intercourse with close relatives; Lev. 18
    1c) sexual intercourse with a divorced man or woman; Mar_10:11-12
    2) metaphorically the worship of idols
    2a) of the defilement of idolatry, as incurred by eating the sacrifices offered to idols

    And this warning is for any of us. Many times in the Scriptures you can see that one sin is more serious over another sin because an extremely serious sin has the death penalty attached. Read down the list of Lev. 18:22 and compare Lev. 20:13.

    Lev 20:13  And a man who lies with a male as one lies with a woman, both of them have done a detestable thing, dying they shall die; their blood shall be on them.

  30. I don’t buy it for a minute that he is a Christian. To openly disobey God’s commandments without an ounce of repentance demonstrates that no conversion took place. He is defiant against God and so his eternal fate looks very grim. I sin also, but I regret it and genuinely ask God for forgiveness and never say that it is OK because God “made me this way” bull.

    I curse the Presbyterian, Lutheran, and Episcopalian church branches that are apostate and mislead people with their acceptance of homosexuality and/or abortion. Part of the great falling away predicted in Revelations before the return of our Lord, Jesus Christ.
