(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Major League Baseball star Manny Machado gave an interview this week wearing a ‘Let’s Go Brandon’ t-shirt, which lit up Twitter with equal parts praise and criticism for the baller’s choice of attire.
Machado, who plays for the San Diego Padres, has won several Gold Gloves at both third base and shortstop. He has also made the MLB All-Star team on several occasions.
During the interview he did not elaborate on his t-shirt choice, but the message is clear: he is no fan of our geriatric president, Joe Biden. more

I like the message and good on him that he’s pushing back, but my position on sports is that back when I watched them, it was for entertainment, not politics.
If they’d all just hit the ball and shut up about everything else, I’d watch.
Otherwise, no.
I don’t want a political message in my entertainment, that’s not entertaining.
Not even one I agree with.
