Breitbart: The owners of an Ohio butcher shop are accused of carrying out a $3.5 million food stamp fraud scheme over eight years.
Federal investigators raided Busch’s Country Corner in Cincinnati on Thursday after obtaining a search warrant to collect security camera recordings, financial records, and electronic communications as evidence of potential fraud, WCPO reported.
Federal documents state that store owners Michael and Amanda Busch trafficked $3.5 million in Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits and traded them for cash beginning in January 2010, and carried out the SNAP fraud scheme for the next eight years.
Investigators say Michael Busch’s brother Randall had also taken part in the scheme. All three suspects could face a number of food stamp fraud charges—including conspiracy to defraud the U.S., wire fraud, unauthorized use of SNAP benefits, access device fraud, and theft of public money. more

Not that I don’t give a shit, but when I see people buying soda and shit like that with SNAP this pales in comparison to that part of the whole scam. Shut the shit down and give them rice and beans to eat and if they want meat with it they can find bugs under rocks to supplement it with.
When I was young and short on cash I subsisted on rice & beans that I bought and whatever I caught or killed or scrounged for, like chanterells or morrell mushrooms, fiddleheads and shit like rockfish, salmon and crab that I caught and killed, like deer, bear, elk, pheasant, goose and ducks.
But that demands that you GTF out of bed and actually work or you don’t eat.
I can go down to Winco right now and see a parade of fat disgusting meatbags with cartloads of poptarts and soda pop and not a staple one nor a vegetable in sight and every Goddamned one will pay with an EBT card then head over to pick up their cigarettes across the way after paying cash for their beer.
I’m shocked, just shocked that someone would abuse the system like that!
Actually many would cheer their efforts as pursuing the “American Dream.” Just a thought, so the governmental agencies have been jerking you around for a long period of time when it hits you, “Hey, I can stick in back up their ass and make a few bucks. After all it’s the government and everyone else is doing it.”
Think maybe that little item went through their heads? Oops, got caught as they starting making too much money and not considered one of the “little cheaters” anymore and someone got jealous and ratted them out.

If you defraud a fraud, you’re really un-frauding the defrauded fraud, aren’t you?
In effect, one set of taxpayers recovered the money of which they were defrauded, and a bit more.
Or, at least, that’s how it would be explained if they were politically connected.
