Pro-life Democrats — yes, they do exist — are pushing back against efforts to purge any member of the party that does not support abortion, saying Democratic leaders are “completely wrong” here.
This coming after Rep. Pramila Jayapal, D-Wash., suggested Friday that a Democrat who isn’t pro-abortion shouldn’t be financially supported by the party and should get “strong primary challenges.”
“Personally, I do think there should be a core set of Democratic ideals that we all agree to,” Jayapal said. “That you can’t say you’re a Democrat if you’re against immigrants, if you’re against abortion, if you’re against gay marriage, LGBTQ rights.”
According to Day, there are 21 million pro-life Democrats in the U.S., and she said “a lot of them are afraid to speak up” — which speaks volumes about the intolerance of hard-left progressives and how they bully those who disagree with them.
So, pro-life Democrats, don’t vote for pro-death Ds. Use the brain that God gave you (if it hasn’t rotted yet from disuse).
Does that 21 million number include the 1 or 2 in government?
