Programming Note

We’ve added links in the right lower sidebar to the stories beyond the first page to make it easier for the reader to get a quick glance at what they might be interested in.

I hope you like the addition.

  1. Good idea. May I offer one small additional suggestion? Put a date on each post so that we can tell when it was posted without having to go into the comments to find out. Actually, nowadays the posts come and go by so quickly that I don’t even have time to read all of them between log-ins, so it’s not as important as it used to be, but it still would be useful when going back to review old ones.

    🙂

P.S. – I’m not even going to mention edit. That one goes without saying.

  2. This site is better and more relevant than Drudge Report. I think you should change the layout some more. Take the “what readers are saying” off the left side (move it to the bottom maybe). Add more headlines like you are doing on the right side. Remove the synopsis under the headlines until you click on it or, have the synopsis pop up in a box when you move the mouse over the bold headline.

I would love to see you guys become as much of an aggregator as Drudge in order to compete. Shorten the name to “World Report” and give it a similar look to his using same font. You should also seriously consider getting some press credentials and recruit some investigative journos. One story would be all it takes to launch this site sky high.
