Rick is a talented musician for sure.
I’ve been watching his channel for some time now.
When he analyzed Boston’s “Hitch a Ride” he nailed it completely.
What amazes me is how some asshole bands like Guns-n-Roses will have his videos removed if he plays any of their songs.
Bunch of pricks, he would make you look good if he covered your songs.
Long-time readers here are probably thinking what I am thinking.

I saw that earlier this morning. Sad, indeed. I like Beato’s channel. His “What Makes This Song Great” videos are worth watching.
That link to the Guardian is interesting in that they mention his contributions to the Blogosphere. A good portion of that would be his contributions to us here, and also to the site Clarice Feldman calls home – Just One Minute.

He’s a drummer and says Beato is the real deal with great insight into the business side of the music industry as well as his knowledge of music.

I did not mention it before, but this is a lovely video. I can believe that Rick is a better person for having known Peter, but Peter was better off for having known Rick.
