Does anybody remember the “Summer of Love”?
The phrase was coined by former Seattle Mayor Jenny Durkan, a Democrat who justified an “autonomous zone” established by left-wing anarchists in the city in 2020.
You may recall that a 19-year-old man was shot and killed in the autonomous zone.
Multiple other shootings took place in that seven-block area that police were forced to abandon during the “Summer of Love.”
A 24-year-old woman was hit by a car while protesting on a closed section of Interstate 5 in Seattle. She later died.
Calls pertaining to “rapes, robberies and all sorts of violent acts”, according to Seattle Police Chief at the time, Carmen Best, had tripled.
And yet Durkan thought it little more than “a block party atmosphere.”

This summer has all the appearances of becoming 1968 on steroids. The left is going to go more apeshit than they did in 1968 with far more damaging consequences and I believe that like in 68 that normal American people like in 68 will repudiate them with a return to law and order with Trump resoundingly kicking bidumb and the democraps ass to the curb. At least that’s my hope but the left will fight back and if they win, God forbid we will see another civil war. Yes, in a couple of weeks the Summer of Violence will be here. It will all culminate at Chicago this fall. The mayor won’t stand in the way of the rioters like Daley did in 1968; he’ll probably join them in trashing the city. We may even witness another 1873 type of fire that will destroy much of Chicago.
During the 1993 LA Rodney King riots, the leftists started fires that appeared to me to be designed to occur at locations far apart, making police, fire, and ambulances run around like crazed rabbits trying to stop the madness.
