Sen. Ted Cruz failed to get a comment Tuesday from Jill Sanborn, an assistant director of the National Security branch of the FBI, about Ray Epps, a man seen acting suspiciously before and during the January 6, 2021 riot whose name disappeared from the FBI’s suspect list after he appeared in New York Times reporting.
“Ms. Sanborn, was Ray Epps a fed?” Cruz asked. “How many FBI agents or confidential informants actively participated in the events of January 6th?”
“Sir, I can’t answer that,” Sanborn said, repeating that the FBI does not go into “sources and methods” in settings like this. More
Ted Cruz didn’t do anything except play the role he was assigned. He completely accepted her stonewalling and went to the next question without even once asking for clarification or an explanation. I would like to be impressed but I didn’t see anything impressive.

It is very common for cases in Canuckistan to get thrown out when it is demonstrated that informants or Undrcover Agents plan, encourage and “push” someone to do more than the normally would have.
There was a high profile RCMP Terror case where the Undercover continued to push the subjects when surveillance clearly showed that they tried to walk away many times. The RCMP had planned it, provided all of the materials, & continually pushed.
The subjects themselves were proven to be petty criminals & drug addicts who were easily led and had never done anything remotely similar to the charges.
The NKVD used to infiltrate (sometimes establish) “nationalist” groups (groups of students patriotic about their home countries) stir up shit, arm them with placards and slogans, then bust them and send them to the Gulag (or execute them).
Gestapo used similar tactics with groups opposed to genocide, racism, and oppression.
The Spartans would ask the Helots (Messenians) if they’d be willing to fight for Sparta, and be freed. Our FBI has some sick antecedents – but they’ve learned well.
