Tennessee AG Drops Out Of DACA Lawsuit

DC: Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery III reneged Friday on his threat to sue if the Trump administration fails to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program.

Slatery conceded a change of heart in a letter sent to Republican Tennessee Sens. Lamar Alexander and Bob Corker Friday.

“Many of the DACA recipients, some of whose records I reviewed, have outstanding accomplishments and laudable ambitions, which if achieved, will be of great benefit and service to our country,” the letter reads. “They have an appreciation for the opportunities afforded to them by our country.”

  1. “DC: Tennessee Attorney General Herbert Slatery III reneged Friday on his threat to sue if the Trump administration fails to end the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program” – Most apropo is the use of the word “renege” from LMA Latin “renegare” – to deny again; a reference to Christian apostasy. Screw that weaselly bastard.

  2. “Laws we don’t need no stinkin laws”! Let’s see now, a Secretary of State can hide secret government documents on a private server and walk free, An FBI Director can lie under oath and walk free, A CIA Director can lie under oath and walk free, a foreign national can take up residence illegally in the United States and be rewarded for doing so and I tear the tag off a new mattress and am threatened with legal action for doing so!

  3. Related to this subject, I have a question: why is it racist to want to send people here illegally back to Mexico, but it is not racist to say that Mexico is a hell hole that makes people want to come here illegally?

  4. Three of my direct ancestors were members of the Tennessee Mounted Gunmen (militia) and went with General Jackson down the mighty Missisip. They took a little bacon and they took a little beans and they fought the bloody British at the town of New Orleans (Footnote: all three were killed during that battle)! And now look at what spineless people they spawn in Tennessee! They would be so sad!

Bull*****, that guy has been compromised! Could the AG explain to me how someone who is inadmissible ( and has no recourse to a waiver or exemption ) can be allowed in the country?
