(WSJ) — The political organization of Virginia Gov. Terry McAuliffe, an influential Democrat with longstanding ties to Bill and Hillary Clinton, gave nearly $500,000 to the election campaign of the wife of an official at the Federal Bureau of Investigation who later helped oversee the investigation into Mrs. Clinton’s email use.
Campaign finance records show Mr. McAuliffe’s political-action committee donated $467,500 to the 2015 state Senate campaign of Dr. Jill McCabe, who is married to Andrew McCabe, now the deputy director of the FBI. MORE
Boy McAuliffe must really be in line for a huge position in a Clinton Dictatorship with him stocking Virginia Demorat voter blocs with fresh felon voters for Hillary and now this nugget.

I’m sure Director Comey, “we’re not weasels”, knew of this conflict and allowed the deputy director to oversee the investigation.

Perception is reality and this FBI Deputy Director should have realized that and declined to work on the case. As he didn’t we’ll never know, but will strongly suspect, that he tanked this investigation as payback for the help his wife got. His wife, if she had any scruples, would have asked him to decline as the appearance of impropriety would be harmful to both their reputations as well as that of the FBI. Of course, since the MSM would choose not to cover this I guess they really didn’t have anything to worry about. Comey and McCabe and who knows how many other of this ilk are the people that run the FBI turning it into weapon for use by Democrats and their liberal/progressive allies against their opponents.
Oddly, outside of (possibly) not warning the McCabe’s of the appearance this would have I don’t blame the Democrat Party or McAuliffe as they do what political parties do and that’s support nominees in elections.

McAuliffe is wealthy from insider trading during the Clinton administration.
McAuliffe walked away with hundreds of millions of $$$ from the accts of Global Crossroads communications dot com company based in Bermuda days before they filed for bankruptcy, leaving thousands of investors with the usual nothings when insiders steal everything before claiming insolvency, Bermuda laws allowed him to do it, helped him fund numerous democratic office candidates and his own unscrupulous runs to get to the Gov’s position in Virginia, has always been Clingon’s hatchet and money bag man…
