KFI: An accused fajita bandit is waiving his right to trial by jury. Former Cameron County, Texas juvenile detention center employee Gilberto Escamilla is expected to plead guilty at his next hearing in two weeks after his decision yesterday to opt out of a jury trial. Escamilla was arrested last year after a food service vendor revealed to the detention center staff he had been selling fajitas to Escamilla for years.
The only problem was that Escamilla is accused of re-selling the food and billing it to the detention center which doesn’t even offer any fajitas on its menu.
Wonder what’s the best queso scenario for the Bandito?
He was warned he’d better keep the kickbacks coming. It doesn’t pay to cut corners when dealing with a government entity.
I’m trying to contain myself but when are you going to post the good news?
Thinking this headline would work for the post directly above it:
Accused RINO pleads guilty, avoids jury trial.

This case is so old, it’s only now coming to trial? Seems like this was first reported a long time ago. Just an observation. I hope he gets the whole enchilada thrown at him!

No thanks I don’t like Mexican food don’t eat chalupa, tacos, or chihuahua.
