  1. I knew it had to be Jethro, but not from BFH’s great painting. The route to Camp David goes over Montgomery County MD, and the two of us had a conversation quite a while ago about independent roots we each have in that part of Maryland, near Darnestown.

Bad Jethro! Bad boy! No biscuit! — But drinks are on me!

  2. To make sure it is visible year round you need to sprinkle ammonium nitrate in the lettering. It will burn the grass into not growing directly where it was sprinkled and a outline of about two inches of bright green grass will outgrow the rest of the lawn.

That sounds very appropriate (biden and cow shit) but I think I’ll pass. Same with Tsquared’s idea. I like my lawn.
This spring I think I will try mowing it at a different mower level to see if it shows up.

I’m not in the direct path, but the route changes randomly and I am within the distribution.
I crashed my motorcycle on Turkey Foot Rd in Darnestown in 1982. I almost lost my leg in that crash.

  5. I live on the route as well. When the POTUS rides, there are three helos. Most of the time it is one or two helos for guests or training. They ride low sometimes (~500 ft) to cause my house to shake.

  6. Gotta make it stand out even more!
Still, the best of all is the guy in Milwaukee near Mitchell Airport who painted “Welcome to Cleveland” on top of his business, that one gets me every time I’ve seen it flying in and out.
