Twitter Suspends Michael Knowles for Bible Verse that Foregoes Vengeance

Daily Wire

Knowles appears to have been impacted by a widespread Twitter crackdown against conservative accounts criticizing or simply alluding to the Trans Radical Activist Network’s recent call for a “Day of Vengeance” on Saturday, April 1, mere days after the attack in Nashville. Trans Radical Activist Network meanwhile retains access to its account on the platform.

Knowles linked on Twitter to a Daily Wire article about the “Day of Vengeance” and included a reference to Romans 12:19, in which the apostle Paul exhorts Christians to refrain from taking personal vengeance: “Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’” More

  1. Odd. Musk could be stuck in a re-edumucation camp?

Either way, it will take a massive (and likely futile) effort on his part to justify this lack of free speech.

  2. I had such high hopes for Musk’s purchase of Twitter. But I’m also not surprised that it’s turned out this way. The rot is simply too deep and is built-in at this point.

  3. Ha! I’ve just been banned for 12 hours for, get this, “encouraging suicide.”

I responded to a meme of a man holding a large orange tabby and pointing a gun (he was in woods and it didn’t show what he was aiming at). The text said: “The game is … With the cat clutched in your arms, fire the gun and see how long you can hold the cat. The World Record is 1.3 seconds.”

So, I replied: “How many stitches did it take for the bleeding to stop.”

I don’t care that they have no sense of humor. This is so deeply embedded in the code that even Musk’s rocket scientists can’t fix it. I know very little about computer code, and that’s why I struggled with the easy stuff in college. Still got my 4.0, but decided coding was WAAAAAY over my head. HTML, yeah, it’s not real coding, asp, near enough to real coding, but I did manage to create a shopping cart for my bosses website (back in the early 2000s when it wasn’t as complicated)

SO, what I’m saying is – don’t blame Musk. These Free Speech traitors had years to create backdoors, deeply embed their code, and make themselves look like angels in case something dreadful happened like someone who wanted to restore Free Speech to Twitter was actually able to do it.

I guess I can take this 12 hour break and get something important done.

  4. Claudia, that’s such a stretch to say that funny post could encourage suicide.

It was nothing about killing yourself.

Wait… he was holding a cat he was about to startle.

    Yeaaah. That’s a death wish. 😉
