The Miramar Police Department has issued arrest warrants for two NFL players accused of committing armed robbery.
According to the affidavit to arrest, Deandre Baker of the New York Giants is wanted on four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm.
Quinton Dunbar of the Seattle Seahawks is wanted four counts of armed robbery with a firearm.
Investigators said it all stems from an incident at a house party in Miramar Wednesday night. More
Baker’s lawyer has released a statement proclaiming his clients innocence and stating they have witnesses to exculpate the 2019 first round draft pick by the Giants. Here
Likewise, Dunbar’s lawyer also claims to have several witness to vouch for the undrafted free agent who most recently went from the Washington Red Skins to the Seattle Sea Hawks. Here

Deandre Baker has surrendered to police. Dunbar’s lawyers are still proclaiming the innocence of their client and criticizing the police for publicizing their warrants.

The two suspects had been engaged in some high stakes gambling and had lost quite a bit before this robber.
I guess losing money gambling wasn’t enough stupidty, now they’ll have to deal with the legal system and probable loss of their football careers.

DeAndre Baker signed a 4 year $10 million contract with a $5 million signing bonus in 2019.
Quinton Dunbar signed a 3 year $3.7 million contract with a $1 million signing bonus in 2017.
