In many states in the US, California of course being an example, both Muslims and Jews are served meals the rest of the prison population don’t get.They are better in taste and nutrition than the regular institution meals. In prison, an inmate can also choose to change his, or her, religion to Muslim or Jewish, assuming the prison Imam or rabbi verifies your sincerity. Verification is another story.
It’s all based on inmates constitutional right to freedom of religion, and others.

The attached short speech from Winston Churchill, was delivered by him in 1899 when he was a young soldier and journalist. It no doubt sets out the current view of many, but expresses it in the wonderful Churchillian turn of phrase and use of the English language, of which he was a master. Sir Winston Churchill was, without doubt, one of the greatest men of the late 19th and 20th centuries.
