CTH: One of the lesser discussed BIG PICTURE stories being missed within the people’s revolt against totalitarian government under the guise of this pandemic, is the abject void of pragmatic conservative leadership in Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom.
As the working class Canadians rally behind their blue collar truck drivers, the invisibility of strong, opposing voices to the leftist government they are challenging is brutally obvious.
It is almost painful to watch this play out.

Living here I have witnessed the undeniable fact that both parties are very leftist. There is no, I repeat, no “conservative” in the conservative party.
The people here continue to love being taken care of, whether it is the pathetic health care system (with no alternative) or the handout mentality of so many on the dole.

I used to tow roughnecks back onto the gravel on Friday nights up by Coutts when I was like 12 – 16 years old. My dad had the tow truck and the roughnecks would get all drunk and put their outfit in the ditch on the way back out to the trailers they lived in at the rigs.
