Another hate crime accusation bites the dust
After a month-long investigation, authorities have concluded that a gay man “invented the story and actually instigated the fight” which had led to accusations of a hate crime at North Dakota University.
Police wanted to charge Haakon Gisvold, who’s not a UND student, with “providing false information to police,” but prosecutors passed.
