People took to Twitter to show their disgust for this show and called for a Netflix boycott; many people cancelled their Netflix subscriptions and encouraged others to as well. I guess it’s not a good idea to attack a large number of your paying customers.

I dumped my Netflix, it sucks anyway.
I called and canceled this morning. I told the representative the reason , due to this series and due to the directors racist comment on twitter.
I could tell by her voice she was a black woman but was very kind and professional and appreciated that I called in with my reason.
I sensed that I wasn’t the first person she heard from with this complaint. MAGA
Well, I might have to cancel as well. They have a couple shows I really like and wife is watching a show or 2 from them, but oh well.
Now if they come up with a series “F#$k Black People” as a couterpoint, then maybe I stay. Haha!

I just contacted them and asked the manager, “if a white TV director got on Twitter and tweeted fuck black people, would Netflix still be promoting his TV shows?” I also told them “Because Netflix has decided that it wants to propagate institutionalized racial bigotry, in essence telling me that it no longer values my business as a white person. I will be canceling immediately.”
You should all call them up and do the same. Give this number out to everyone on the web.

This is not cool, but my experience is Amazon Prime Video has much more offensive content with no way of excluding it from view.

The manager didn’t really get to say anything. She stammered and stuttered and said she’d have to speak with her superiors. Basically, she received a tongue lashing, and was trained enough to acknowledge my concerns and not argue with me.

Rufus T Firefly ….But Amazon played a role in overturning the muslim ban. All of these outfits are anti white American.
My average monthly Amazon order is $700 but I removed well over a hundred videos from my wishlist and will be buying very few from now on.
Not to mention when they screw up an order it is almost impossible to get them to understand. And all the stupid irrelevant boxes you have to check is maddening.
P.S. I gave up netflix years ago when they only had 8 million subscr. What’s it now 30million? 40? Just too many shows they weren’t offering then.
I went to HULU and watched for free until they screwed that up too. I’m going back to reading books.

Hollywood (including TV production) is now around 6 mega-conglomerates, last I counted.

How about we go back to how the nation was say — um — 8 years ago…it seemed to be a lot less racially divisive before our first half-black, half-white president came on the scene. Now you can’t live in your own skin without feeling guilty. Now you can’t even express your opinion without people running for “safe spaces”.
