The Australian Conservation Foundation CEO says recent warnings from scientists and two decades of climate inaction mean the gloves are off.
“If we continue to burn coal and gas for decades to come, we will kill the 1.5 degree target, we will not have a habitable planet and hundreds of millions of people will die,” she told the National Press Club in Canberra on Tuesday.
“When people are defending burning coal and gas, then that’s what they’re really talking about – those hundreds of millions of people whose lives will be at risk.”

How many of these will succumb to cold, automobile collisions, medical snafus, annoyed spouses, suicide, narcotic abuse, infections, etc.? I am sure that as regular humans, we must all die at some point. This is one of the reasons that I become very weary reading such tripe.

I’m willing to bet a paycheck swap that this Libtard idiot never heard of the Medieval Warm Period, when the climate was approximately 3 degrees Celsius warmer, and Europeans were able to grow two crops a year. (and there was no man made industry to add copious quantities of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere)

The Aussies should be used to high temperatures…hell, they play golf & tennis when it’s 130 in the shade.
