North Carolina Governor Roy Cooper (D) commuted death sentences for 15 inmates on his last day in office.
On Tuesday Cooper announced that he has commuted the sentences of 15 people on death row in North Carolina to life without the possibility of parole after a thorough review of detailed petitions for clemency.
“These reviews are among the most difficult decisions a Governor can make and the death penalty is the most severe sentence that the state can impose,” said Governor Cooper. “After thorough review, reflection, and prayer, I concluded that the death sentence imposed on these 15 people should be commuted, while ensuring they will spend the rest of their lives in prison.”
Cooper’s office said no executions have been carried out in North Carolina since 2006 because of ongoing litigation. More
Ongoing litigation… F lawyers!
They were convicted of heinous crimes… give them 1 year to litigate, then draw and quarter them and be done with it.
Their victims weren’t spared. Nor were the victims’ family and friends spared the heartache. Not to mention the taxpayers who have pay for the murderers’ lifetime incarceration. I wonder how much per year it costs them to house the murderers. Plus, the next step is trying to parole them. 🤬

There seems to be a very organized effort to make our streets just as dangerous as they can possibly be. What’s up with that?
Hemp is a renewable resource. Make use of it often!
“What’s up with that?”
It’s called Anarcho-tyranny, it is real and it is premeditated;

The new upside-down order is where law-abiding citizens are punished and criminals go free. But it is purposeful, designed to instill fear and uncertainty so the government can control you.
The prescription is simple, understand that your safety is in your hands alone, then act accordingly.
gubmint *******, see how well that control works for you
Rich, thanks for the link. I hope you caught the one I put up yesterday with Shawn Ryan and Sarah Adams. Pretty scary shit.
^^^^ I didn’t, which thread was it posted on?
Here it is here. It’s two hours but she’s pretty informative.

The only way to ensure they never leave prison is to have them die in prison.
When government does not make an honest effort to implement justice then they have forfeited any legitimate claim to a monopoly on justice and no one is under any moral obligation to respect that. The concept of vigilantism no longer has legitimacy and the injured have every right to take care of it on their own as they see fit.
This is all about increasing INNOCENT human suffering, misery and death and is exactly what anyone with any ability to observe and recognize patterns can plainly see it is.
@ Conservative Cowgirl
in re …costs them to house…”
and feed and clothe and provide amusement/TV time etc
I would like to make a suggestion:
take the costs to maintain all 15 murderers in prison from his bank accounts (I’m 99% certain he has a few) and, if necessary, sell his assets; there’s absolutely no reason why he should burden the taxpayers of North Carolina with his whimsey
Gotta’ keep the lawyers fed. Dead murderers can’t be clients. Ever noticed how many politicians are lawyers?
Coopers’ just taking after his daddy Joe.
Cooper was elected to follow the will of the people. We had a cocksucker like that in PA that after that pussie got elected he announced that he didn’t believe in the Death Penalty. That alone should have been grounds to impeach him. The judgement of the people was that the bastard should be executed. I think the cocksuckers name was casey. How can a man be elected governor then refuse to carry out the will of the people? But he sure was for abortions..
Cost 80K a year to house 1 inmate
but I read that years ago…..
Gov should pay, what you think ???
Democrats really love themselves some murderer, don’t they? First Brandon, now this asshole…
North Carolina is in deep trouble – out of the frying pan and into the fire. The new NC governor is a Deep State progressive just like Cooper. Cooper commuting the death sentences of convicted killers confirms his pattern of legislating against the people of North Carolina that’s been happening for years.
Stein, the former NC Attorney General will follow in Cooper’s steps and implement extreme leftist policies now that Democrats are in the majority in the NC Legislature. He won’t be blocked routinely.
Stein lead a vicious campaign against the Republican opponent Mark Robinson. Although, Robinson, a Christian and patriot was a great candidate, a scandalous past which Robinson denied was dug up and for months blasted in ads for months by the Stein campaign prior to the Nov. 5th election. It was sadly veey effective.
North Carolina is currently purple but can become solid blue. Stein and his Democrat supporters and donors from blue states, moving into NC in droves must have restrictions or opposition to stop a “blue wave”. Hopefully, limits of his duties put into law by the previous Republican lead Legislature hampers Stein’s radical leftist advocacy.
99 We ain’t going blue!!! You wash your mouth out with soap! It’s bad enough they managed to sink Mark Robinson so quickly, but don’t even talk about something so vulgar as a “blue wave”. Speak Life over our state and nation! 😉
I was surprised that out of those 15 murders none were committed in Durham!Surely Durham Co has a higher murder rate than Forsyth County. Forsyth must have a Handing Judge!!! And then my own words answered my query. Durham, as well as Orange and Wake counties are full of bleeding heart Progressive “judges” who wouldn’t dare impose a death sentence on anyone other than a pre-born baby.
Thanks, Rascist for bringing me back to my senses. Sometimes you lose heart being surrounded by the enemy. Yeah, the Triangle is the worst NC Democrat enclave. Seriously, thank you! Keeping the faith.
Great observations you made. Hooray for Forsyth County! There’s probably enough conservatives holding down the fort in that county. God bless them. You’re right. Got to stay in the fight to turn NC strawberry red.
Those 15 murderers should be housed in Cooper’s basement.

Lemme guess… They all killed white people. None of them was a white person who killed an non-white. That is literally the only litmus test the scumbag democrats use when commuting death sentences.
Killing a white doesn’t deserve death.
Being an uppity white who kills a non-white deserves death.
More psychologically instilled self-loathing being heaped on the white public.
What’s the guarantee that they’ll all serve out there life terms? Prisoners can and do escape. Remember Clint Eastwood’s movie Escape From Alcatraz.
Another jack ass looking for a feed bag!
