  1. It’s sad, but that’s the way it is.
The British MEN – true MEN – end up dead while the whiners, back-benchers, and sissies wield political power.

THIS is exactly why the UK is a worthless cesspool today.

  2. Tim; I’m waiting for an American hero to lead us out of this untenable situation.
Did you see James Woods says what many here have said about a civil war?
Levin calling mueller’s grand jury a coup?

  3. Sorry, but if taking your own life to avoid capture by the enemy makes you a hero, then Adolf Hitler was a hero, too.

He should never have been there in the first place, but it’s easy to throw your life away when you’re twenty years old. Not so much when you’re forty or fifty or older. But that’s why young men fight wars and we old guys don’t, anymore.

Speaking personally, there’s not a million ragheads on either side of this Middle East conflict I would sacrifice myself for.

    But that’s just me.

It’s hard not to sound like an Internet troll on this. And this isn’t trolling. But…

Those capable of leading the Americans (British, Rwandans, etc.) “out of this untenable situation” don’t want to drag the Americans (etc.) that are willing to live IN the current “situation” along with them.

  5. The point of war is not to die for your country, but to make the other SOB die for his. If I’m in a hopeless situation like that, I grab two live grenades and run right at them. If I’m taking my life, I’m taking yours, too.

  6. I’m with VietVet on this. The stupid limey fuck shouldn’t have been there in the first place. If some muslim faction is busy killing another muslim faction, then I don’t have a problem with it. Let them sort out their own problems and stay the hell out of it until it’s necessary to go in , and if we do go in, give no quarter.

  7. Sometimes you have to take a stand against Evil.
If that makes you a fool, so be it.

Rather a stalwart fool with some sense of morality than a pusillanimous genius without.
