Breitbart TX: Police in South Texas arrested a second person in the Starr County DA’s growing voter fraud investigation. The suspect allegedly submitted a ballot by mail application for a deceased voter.
Starr County District Attorney Omar Escobar’s voter fraud investigation led to charges being filed against 37-year-old Erika Lozano-Pelayo. Escobar confirmed to the Brownsville Herald that his office filed charges of election fraud and fraudulent application for ballot by mail. Starr County is located west of McAllen, Texas along the U.S.-Mexico Border.
The Starr County Elections Department found that a ballot application submitted by Lozano-Pelayo was for a voter who had previously died, yet remained on the voter registration rolls. The voter died in early December, the local newspaper reported. The application was signed after the voter’s death and was mailed in January.
The timing of the alleged fraudulent ballot application could not have been worse for the defendant. A new law passed by the Texas Legislature (SB5) became effective on December 1, 2017. That new law makes the filing of a fraudulent ballot application a state jail felony. read more

Starr county, AKA the valley, she gets off with a stern warning. The valley is heavily Hispanic and bright blue.
Simple fix – 5 year mandatory.
Meanwhile in Virginia, we’re busy restoring voting rights to convicted felons. Disgusting.
Good behavior provides no benefits in Virginia.
My bet is that Trump plans on instituting a National Voter ID program if we maintain or gain poisition in the 2018 midterms.
If the 2018 midterms don’t kill the Democrat Party, mandatory voter ID’s surely will.
And then the Dead can truly rest!
Is there ever a case of republican voter fraud?
I’d like to see someone like Jesse Waters or Mark Dice interview people on the street or students on campus to see if they’re in favor of voter ID to stop “republican voter fraud”. Then reverse it to “democrat voter fraud” and witness the reaction.
Absentee ballots are the single most common method of voter fraud. This is why EVERYONE in Oregon has an absentee (mail-in) ballot.
Nibbling away at the problem, when the massive voter fraud goes untouched.
Someone allowed it.
Someone encouraged it.
Voter fraud undermines the foundations of the Republic (electing the people the citizens desire to represent them – is the basis of any democratic Republic) and is one of the more serious forms of treason available. We must ask ourselves why it is not treated as such. And the only answer that meets the requirements of logic is that it (voter fraud) serves the interests of those in whom we put our trust, to our detriment.
