A Canadian province has conceded to nationwide demonstrations by the nation’s truckers and will abolish vaccine passports immediately and end most COVID-related restrictions by month’s end.
Jason Kenney, the premier of Alberta, announced Tuesday evening that the passport requirement to enter businesses in the province will end at 11:59 p.m. local time and most other restrictions will be gone in three steps over the next three weeks.
“Now is the time to begin learning to live with COVID,” Mr. Kenney said in a televised address. “These restrictions have led to terrible division.”
“We cannot remain at a heightened state of emergency forever. We have to begin to heal,” he said.

He hedged his statement with “for now” type language.
He also stated:
“I think it’s quite likely that for the rest of our lives we’re probably going to need to take an annual COVID shot much like the annual flu shot.”

The truckers are saying he’s full of shit and is leaving a door open and they aren’t leaving until lifting mandates is permanent. They don’t seem to like this guy anymore than they do Trudeau.

Kenney said that “would make practical sense… make a requirement that people get a third shot.”

Judge orders Ottawa police to return fuel. So shouldn’t the cops be held reliable for arresting those bringing fuel? That was theft and I would assume theft is a crime in Canada.

Just saw a report that the cops returned almost every can of diesel and gas half water. They have a base set up where they test all the fuel.

I have absolutely no conception about how the Canadian Justice System works, but I read earlier today that the courts ordered the lil fxcking storm troopers to return what they had taken. Interesting.
Hopefully the Premier doesn’t allow the socialist race card flashing power hungry mayor of the capitol city turn that city into another Portland or Baltimore, declaring his own illegal dictator mandates.

Alberta is the more conservative of the territories. If he is sitting on the fence and leaving the door open, the others will still try to keep these mandates in place.
