According to one place I read/saw this, he was looking up and noticing the camera. Gah! What a letch.
The zeitgeist / reality gap is greatest before an extended time of misery and chaos. Propaganda has set such a double standard that republicans have to be perfect and democrats are fine if you can’t prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are the prince of darkness.

Does anyone else remember back during the Clinton-Lewenski scandal in the 90’s, Monica’s office buddy Linda Tripp had some recordings of phone conversations between Monica an her? Very incriminating stuff. Well suddenly, and for weeks, the focus was no longer on Bill and Monica’s affair, but on what a despicable human being Linda Tripp was. She was villified mercilessly. Isn’t Billy Bush the new Linda Tripp?
