Carefree Black Boy, Jada Smith – IOTW Report

Carefree Black Boy, Jada Smith

Will Smith’s son, Jada has found a career in modeling and has become the poster boy of a new movement.

(Believe it or not, the other three are all girls, I think.)

Jada  it turns out, has been declared the face of the “Carefree Black Boy” movement.

There are those that see this attempt to jam Will’s dress-wearing boy down the collective throats of the masses through popular culture as an effort to further undermine the presence of strong men in Black families.

  1. From the HuffPo article: “…young people in the African American community have been able to present themselves in ways that buck stereotypes…”. Are you kidding me? “Buck stereotypes”?

I think somebody had their tongue firmly in their cheek when they wrote that line…

    ?

  2. Considering the number of black males that walk around with their pants dropped, which happens to be the prison sign for being ‘available’, just how is this a big deal?

  3. So Jada’s the Mom and Jaden is the son?

    I get so confused.

Thank goodness the sisters doesn’t have a J-name or I’d be totally lost. Wait she’s Willow and her dad is Will?

I justa hope they will not have anymore kids.

  4. OMGoddness-he would have gotten his ass kicked every single day at the high school I went to-obviously he never has needed to stick up for himself.

An insular life like that is going to come to a bad end.

  5. He probably things he’s really a model and will have a career prancing around in beautiful clothes.

They are exploiting him for their own agenda; shock, publicity and define the brand as being cutting edge in order to sell more hand bags.

Taking a swipe at masculinity is but a side benefit to these soulless jerks.

  6. I look at my own children and understand that they are going to have to grow up “normal,” be proud of their country and their heritage, and be willing to fight to defend themselves, their loved ones, and their honor, because dress-wearing metrosexual pajama-boy pansies like Jaden Smith can’t be counted on to step up.

  7. Ok, I just HAD to go here:

    Nature Boy

    There was a boy
    A very strange enchanted boy
They say he wandered very far, very far
    Over land and sea
A little shy and sad of eye
    But very wise was he

    And then one day
A magic day he passed my way
And while we spoke of many things
    Fools and kings
    This he said to me
The greatest thing you’ll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return

The greatest thing you’ll ever learn
Is just to love and be loved in return

  8. I clicked on the link and found this headline:

How Jaden Smith And The #Carefreeblackboy Movement Are Redefining Black Masculinity

I’ll be watching to see how this new black masculinity thing works out.

  9. He calls himself a prophet of God and as such says he was inspired to create a fashion line which he called 666 and actually did promos of the line with that tattooed on his forehead.

Listen to his parents discuss child raising and you will see why that kid (and his sister) is so messed up.

    The entire clan is nuts

  10. Don’t know if this happens to anyone else, but when I tapped the pic to see it larger, the page went to WordPress sign in.

Also, sometimes when I click on a comment on the left, the page tells me the connection is not trusted and wants me to confirm continuation.

  11. So wait a minute. Bruce, er, sorry Caitlyn (and I probably spelled that wrong) Jenner gets “Woman of the Year” from I believe, Glamour Magazine, and now we have this little fancy pants, er, sorry again, let’s say fancy skirt boy modeling WOMEN’S clothes. I’d say there’s a sh*tload of discrimination going on against us womenfolk in the fashion industry and it better stop!

  12. This is horrifying. He’s got a handsome face (looks like Mom), but the funky hair and the clothes just ruin the picture.

The fact that he hasn’t gotten his ass kicked in the schoolyard indicates that men have been completely emasculated in our society.
