The brood in Maryland decimated my trees. Three years later I still am picking up branches that have fallen which have all the little cuts in the bark where the bastards plant the eggs.

I bet some sicko scientist somewhere in the world is researching ways to adjust their lifecycles to make them annual, just to see if it is possible. Then they will “accidently” be released….

We have them by the thousands. When the larvae come out of the trees there will be 50lbs of bug killer under each tree waiting for them.

I had a dog when I was a kid that loved eating them. We would walk the neighborhood and they were on every tree. I would pinch their wings behind their ass and pull them off and slam them head first on the sidewalk. Dog would be crunching on them until she was stuffed.
