Spent allot of time there in the 80s. I remember you could set your watch in the evening to when the prostitutes would hit the streets. On ave J, they’d ask you “if you wanted to go on a date”, over and over, as they followed you like cats, as you walked along.

In DC (some years ago) 5 cops were sitting in a car on a stake-out.
A “lady” of the evening walked up and asked if she could suck the dick of the guy in the driver’s seat for $5 (no, NOT Kammie Harris – a different whore). The cop, not wanting to be discovered on the stake-out, showed her his badge and said they were on a stake-out.

Funny it took how many years for someone to get paid to look into and speak this Fact that WE have known for a very long time.
Former NYC residents would say that city is the absolute worst of them all. High violent crime, use and sales of Hochul’s ’empowering’ street drugs in every alley and doorway, unbelievable piles of filth both human and animal, uber-high cost of living, high prices everywhere in NYC, illegal gun smugggling, frequent drive-bys, polluted politicians, low-income kicked into the East River, continuous hunger and poverty, corrupt mayor and much more which makes that city a stinking putrid sewage hell-hole. Any tourist should not be in that city.
