Dem Rep Claim of Being a Hands-On Car Mechanic Suffers a Breaks Down

Washington Free Beacon

That’s how the Democrat [Marie Gluesenkamp Perez (Washington’s 3rd District] [citation added] introduced herself to voters in Washington’s third district in 2022: a hands-on auto shop owner willing to get her fingernails dirty. The image remains central to her reelection campaign—after defeating Republican challenger Joe Kent two years ago, she was the subject of a Politico profile titled, “She Fixes Cars. Can She Fix Congress’ Elitism Problem?”—in which she said she had “replaced hundreds of catalytic converters.” Perez’s campaign site features on its homepage a photo of the congresswoman posing in her uniform on the shop floor, while the site’s “media center” includes stock footage of Perez inspecting parts and turning a wrench.

Years before Perez ran for Congress, however, she described her work for her husband’s auto shop, Dean’s Car Care, in a different light. A since-deleted portion of the shop’s website from 2018 said Perez worked “mostly behind the scenes managing the business side of Dean’s” and “enjoys making spreadsheets and burning the cookies for our holiday gift boxes.” More

  1. Had a girlfriend in high school, for a short period, that filled her car with oil through the dipstick – she was wondering how mechanics could be that patient.

Once I stopped cracking up, she was no longer my girlfriend.

This congressthing reminds me of her.

  2. “…..she said she had “replaced hundreds of catalytic converters.”

Yeah, she, as a known democrat, likely replaced those catalytic converters with money into her own pocket.

I know, accusations are easy but, the history of liberal democrats and their nefarious actions make it easy to infer their Satanic actions.

  3. She reminds me of a female I once knew that would call me up and try to imitate the sounds her car was making so I could help her diagnose the problem!

I told her since she had so much time on her hands she should go to the community college and take some auto shop classes…She did just that and liked it so much she went on to become an ASE CERTIFIED MECHANIC! That was 30 years ago and I think she’s still at it!
