Wyden Threatens To Release Other Classified Info If Nunes Intel Memo Is Released.
Oregon Democratic Sen. Ron Wyden threatened Wednesday to release sensitive and classified information if the House Intelligence Committee’s majority memo is released to the public.
“If this memo comes out, I have a long list of less sensitive, but still classified, information that the American people deserve to see,” he tweeted to his followers. MORE

California Rep. Adam Schiff claimed Wednesday that Republicans on the House Intelligence Committee altered a controversial surveillance memo after the panel voted earlier this week to release the document to the public.
In a letter to California Rep. Devin Nunes, the chairman of the committee, Schiff claimed that Democrats discovered on Wednesday that the classified four-page memo had been “secretly altered” prior to being sent to the White House for review.
“After reviewing both versions, it is clear that the Majority made material changes to the version it sent to the White House, which Committee members were never apprised of, never had the opportunity to review, and never approved,” Schiff wrote.
The Intelligence Committee voted along party lines on Monday to release the memo, which alleges that the FBI and Justice Department misled a federal judge in order to obtain a surveillance warrant in order to spy on Trump associates.
The White House is poised to release the memo on Thursday.
Schiff did not say what edits were made to the memo, and a spokesman for the House Intelligence Committee called the Democrat’s effort a “strange attempt to thwart publication of the memo.”
In a statement to The Daily Caller, Jack Langer said that “minor edits” including “grammatical fixes” were made to the document.
“Two edits [were] requested by the FBI and by the Minority themselves,” Langer said. more here

They are playing this all wrong. All this hysteria and the 24/7 discussions and threats are just going to draw curiosity and encourage people to read the memo when it is released.
All this proves is that government officials need to keep more classified information in private servers in their residential bathrooms. After all, foreign intelligence agencies cannot possibly hack gmail or yahoo.com, can they?

Anyone who releases classified information without proper authorization or through negligence allows such information to become public should be prosecuted to the FULLEST extent of the law, no matter what elected (or unelected) position they may hold!
Wyden is just jerking off. He knows that the process that was followed to release the memo was legal (if slow) and that if he releases classified data (and you can be sure his copies of the stuff are just a wee bit different then others) the DOJ will cuff him up and charge him with lots and lots of violations of his secrecy agreement. In fact, with a Trump DOJ (even with Sessions) there won’t be any Hillary get out of jail free card and he’s likely to spend prison time.
These guys just recused themselves from being privy to “secret” stuff.
They should lose their committee posts and all security clearances.
President Trump should not be playing pit-a-pat with national security (regardless that “national security” is the cover thrown over every lie and criminal activity of the FedGov).
