Good to see them together again, that commercial was a classic!
So, my first thought after seeing the first pic was, well, a little darker. Always good to keep scrolling.
It looked like Ted Cruz’ brother. (does he have siblings?)
It’s good to see they caught up with each other again.
I thought it was Marco Rubio.
Best commercial ever!
I thought he looked like someone who had tested positive for Coke…
?
I love this! Thanks Fur….nice to see that old commercial again – it was a great one. And good to see “Mean Joe Green” and the kid together again.
Commercials like this one and the Budweiser Clydesdales were the best ever. Now we get a bunch of metrosexuals and rap crap made for the farcebook and twatter crowds.
According to “A Football Life” episode Joe Greene really is a great guy. On the field he was a monster of destruction. Once the helmet came off he was a wonderful husband, father, and friend.
Amazing how 20 years can change a Coke.
I remember this as a kid, it always rubbed me the wrong way.
To this day I can’t figure out why people idolize sports players, Hollywood or politicians because I never wanted to be anyone but me.
Wonder if he returned Joe’s jersey.
I thought it would be someone I should hate.
I’ve never really mentioned this to anyone before, but knowing how much football players sweat during a game, every time I saw that commercial all I could think of was how funky that jersey must have been.
😛
P.S. – Please don’t interpret my comment as some sort of racial remark, either. I would’ve thought the same thing if it had been Terry Bradshaw’s jersey, or that of any other player who had been in for the whole game.
Nice!

according to wikipedia – https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ted_Cruz
Cruz had two older half-sisters from his father’s previous marriage, Miriam Ceferina Cruz and Roxana Lourdes Cruz. Miriam died in 2011.
I wonder where Mikey, the kid in the Hey Mikey! He Likes It! commercial is.
John Gilchrist, 44, from the Life Cereal commercial made in 1971, is in media sales and still eats Life Cereal. B
He said he really wasn’t a picky eater.
