Even though fishing is meant to be a soothing pastime that reduces stress, it can be difficult to unwind when you’ve been fired upon. This is exactly what happened to a couple of guys when Gary randomly opened fire in the middle of a peaceful afternoon.

Nowhere does it say where the guy was aiming. Most likely straight up.
In rural areas it’s not against the law to discharge a firearm on your own property as long as you are following the laws regarding distance from dwellings, etc.
He was just doing what slojo suggested. That’s his defense.
This guy would have been what’s called an obliging target if someone was actually trying to kill him.
Notice dude was returning to fishing at the end. I can relate, fishing wise but not the taking the shooting part. He’s into his fishing. Like a lot of stupid went into that little piece of video.
If you have ongoing permission to enter someone’s property PLEASE be courteous to them and give them advance notice of your “visits”.
