Jerry Springer Dead at Age 79

Associated Press

Jerry Springer, the onetime mayor and news anchor whose namesake TV show featured a three-ring circus of dysfunctional families willing to bare all on weekday afternoons including brawls, obscenities and blurred images of nudity, died Thursday at 79.

Springer called it “escapist entertainment,” while others saw the show as contributing to a dumbing-down decline in American social values. More

  1. We saw about 5 minutes of one show and were ashamed to be in the same state. All I could think of Hillbillies in a haunted house. This is an expression I use when encountering Ohio deliverance look a likes.

  2. I’d like to see the look on his face now that he is the freak sitting in a chair trying to justify his slimy life to The Accuser of all accusers and the studio audience are the Dukes of Hell. That, I’d sit through some commercials to see.

  3. At the end of the day, he was exploiting some of the stupidest & dysfunctional people in America. Not a nice or moral thing to do.

On the Other Hand, Still not as harmful to Society as The KARDASHIANS.
