FOX:
Diego Espinoza defeated a fellow House member Richard Andrade in the August primary for District 22’s Senate seat. The heavily Democratic district covers parts of Glendale, Phoenix, Avondale and Tolleson and drew no Republicans.
Espinoza said he has accepted a job with the Salt River Project in community and government relations. He owns a restaurant in Tolleson and has served four terms in the House.
The unexpected resignation means a write-in candidacy is the only option for filling the seat through the election. more
Not a single R candidate in an area covering Phoenix?
He probably spent or pocketed all the political contributions, so no reason to stay. Time to grift somewhere else.
Damn. I saw the headline and thought Mark Kelly. Disappointed!

“Not a single R candidate in an area covering Phoenix?”
That’s where most Californians move to.
Phoenix area is like Los Angles area without earthquakes but instead you get heat and monsoons! But you can still have the traffic so to won’t get homesick.
“That’s where most Californians move to.”
Yes.
Even people who left CA decades ago are moving to AZ. They don’t fit in anywhere else. Liberalism is a cult.
