GP:
A Kentucky woman was charged with murder for fatally shooting her Uber driver in the head.
Phoebe Copas, 48, fatally shot her Uber driver, Daniel Piedra, 52, a couple of weeks ago after she believed he kidnapped her and was taking her to Mexico against her will.
Copas was in El Paso visiting her boyfriend and on her way to meet up with him at a Casino according to the complaint affidavit obtained by KTSM.
Copas told police she saw traffic signs that said “Juarez Mexico” and believed her Uber driver was trying to kidnap her. MORE
Cultural poor impulse control. It’s a thing.
…took a picture of her murdered driver, sent it to her boyfriend, then called 911.
…he got there BEFORE the cops did, so she MUST of known where she was to tell HIM where she was.
Also suggests she’s either lying about the timeline or the police response was REALLY slow.
And why the picture? Souvenir?
…there’s more going on than is being said. But she’s been taken to the penitentiary against her will instead of Juarez, so there’s that.
…but how nice that they tell us what color the GUN was. They only started doing that when they stopped telling us what color the MURDERER was…
Had to be a liberal….
Jumping to conclusions and ignoring the facts.
To be fair, Juarez is pretty crappy.

Why not demand he drop you off at the nearest public place since she had a cell phone and a gun. This sounds more like a gang initiation.

“Was it one of them, Yogi?”
“It’s ALWAYS one of them, Booboo.”
Sexy.
“… facing charges of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury…”
he’s dead jim
that’s pretty serious bodily injury, I’d suggest
’bout as serious as it can get
Ready, shoot, aim…. wait….
She should try the Baldwin defense – the fault lies with the gun.
Or the guy who sold her the pistol.
Or Trump.

I understand her fear.
Everytime I see the exit for Cincinnati, Louisville or Memphis, fear grips my stomach and my hand instinctively goes for my Silver Brown handgun.
